Having trouble getting the plastic breather tubes into the aluminum handle pole tube without damaging them, any ideas on a easier way? Current way I'm tring is lubing them up and trying to jam them in with a flat blade screw driver

Thank you! They should include some sort of instructions with the Rickter products, how long should I run the tubes down into the hull, I've heard of the steering cable not fitting well if you run the tubes longer

Instructions? HA! That sure would be nice to have some helpful hints. Put the tubes down in the hull as much as you can. You'll have to just see what you end up with and how everything fits.

Hi, I need to replace the breather tubes on my RRP pole. Can it be done without taking the pole off and coming up through the hull? To clarify, the breather tubes are not supposed to into the handle pole?

I puller the aluminum poll tubes out, Just leaving the lower poll end and bracket on ski...then fished up new breathers from below,,, pulling as needed with needle noise pliers to get around the poll bolt and pinch spacer...be carful not to tear the tube when pulling with the pliers.. some lube may help... mine butt up against poll tube in Lower end bracket.. get enough up there so when poll is down you don’t see the end of the grey tube exposed....

^^^THIS is the fastest and easiest way to do this. Instead of lube i like to use a little bit of heat from a heat gun. Also, use a long paid of needle nose pliers.
