I have spent the last few days reading all the threads I could find on this and the general consensus seems to be...
RRP = harder hit low end and better for single tricks, fits in hulls better???
PFP = Harder hitting mid and highs but harder to tune and water jackets can break (possibly a big issue because i am still backflopping frequently)
I am about to pull the trigger (tomorrow) on one of these two for my ET967 w/ MSD enhancer and taper bored 46's.
Reliability and ease of tuning is big for me. I feel like i would rather have the low end hit but not sure how substantial the difference is, and if i decide to go wet on the pfp down the road how close the two will be on low end.
It is going in a -8.5 carbon badass and i spend the majority of my time on a river chasing wakeboard boats and doing flat water stuff. Mostly just want to throw big back flips and flat spins.
Thoughts?
