Rrp pole tube removal

What’s the best way to get the tubes out of the castings for trimming? Right now I’ve got all the bolts loose and the tubes won’t even spin, put a rubber strap pipe wrench on and got one to turn. Other won’t budge, tried penetrating lube and a heat gun on the casting as well. Looking for some guidance here- thanks

Do you know if you have corrosion ?

Mine are clean, so I loosen the top and bottom clamping bolts and twist the handle bars right and left to free up some. Then I start pulling and twisting the handle bars till the top section comes off. Then I grab and twist while pulling each tube till each slides out the bottom end. Disregard if you've already done this. Good luck man :)

It’s a brand new pole that’s been sitting for a couple years, bought it with a “lot” of parts to build a ski. Just got everything together and want to get the ski dialed in. I’m going to try twisting them tonight -sounds like that’ll work. Thanks.

Brand new poles do not come assembled. Get a gallon of WD 40, pour into a bucket. soak the ends of the pole in the bucket. or pour penetrating oil down into the ends.
