Rrp steering or air time products steering

Just ordered a xmetal pole for my Sj and I'm currently running umi with 70mm riser bars. The bearing and all are shot so
I'd like to get a new steering set up either rrp or ATP. Any pros or cons over one or another or just personal preference?

RRP steering is total crap. Go with a double sealed system like ATP or Titan and be done with it

I've had both and liked the design of the atp better. Plus the atp came assembled so I didn't have to waste time trying to interpret ridiculously poorly written assembly instructions like the rrp.

I haven't used the rrp yet, so I can't comment on that. The atp performed perfectly.

Or... Simply get a better main bearing(I used a nice koyo one from a bearing place nearby), an ocd solutions tuff thrust washer bearing setup(Uses 2 stainless washers and a delrin/plastic washer instead of that crappy needle bearing that rusts out all the time, a nut with a set screw(krok kollar from blowsion), and call it a day.. It's up to your budget though.

I have the RRP it's working fine no issues. The blowsion set up on the wife's ski, (non mini steering type) was used when I got it 2 years ago still working no issues. That ATP looks sick, the ADA seems easy on the wallet

Are you looking at the regular atp steering or the mini steering? I just bout my mini steering set up not to long ago, havn't put it to use yet, but it feels very nice and very smooth with the sealed bering system. It is also completely put together. Either way, rrp or atp, you are getting a good system just depends on the style you like; and frankly ATP is hard to beat

I have the new ADA system on my ski. Waiting on RRP Fat Bars to get here. I ran the Tuft Thrust washers on my UMI setup for almost 10 years. Great Product.

I have had them all in my hands but only UMI on my skis; the ADA is the new favorite and will be on both my skis this summer.

Do all of these work on the Xmetal pole without drilling the pole?

Newer versions of the xmetal pole have the four threaded holes for mounting. However, to mount RRP steering on an xmetal pole the large center hole must be enlarged slightly. I'm unsure about ATP.
