Surfriding RRP steering replacement?

My RRP riser steering is trashed...long ago it sat over winter with salt in the bearings and seriously messed up the bearing races inside the steering. Now everytime time I put a new set of bearings/orings in, it will self destruct within 6mths. Needless to say Im kinda over it. Anyone know a good replacement riser steering that will bolt up to a billet RRP pole...that needs minimal maintenance? Also I have heard there were bushings someone was making to replace the bearings in the steering? If so does anyone have a link to it?

Thanks guys. I have decided not to cheap out and just replace the whole steering system. Shopping around, lots of interesting options out there these days.

My rrp was the same way as yours. Completely wiped and would move all over the place. I switched to the thrust steering and it is awesome. No movement at all, super smooth, easy and simple install and it's bulletproof I plan on having it on my ski for a long time before I have to touch if I ever even have to

Absolutely love my jetworks OVP steering with the yami bushing setup. @DAG makes a nice looking OVP setup too. Bushing setups still turn buttery smooth, not as much as a bearing setup..BUT! There's no maintenance with bushings, and they both feel the same when you're riding.

Did you change the thrust washers with the needle bearings in your RRP steering...? I got mine second hand with a lot of corrosion in 2013. Cleaned it up well with new bearings, washers, and O-rings and have had no issues with it since.

Ya I will take pics of it when I pull it off later this week. I have replaced everything upwards of 10times. The channel the middle oring sits in is damaged. And the top and bottom race that the thrust washers sit in is completely destroyed.

New overall ovp by far the best i've seen so far.bulletproof and sealed like a duck's ass.
smallest and lightest system too.
fredo will get it to you in 2 to 3 days straight from him
