I agree with drilling it and using bushings, I have done it on Krash for the steering and trim, and RRP for steering. I just ran out and looked at the RRP trim and you might have trouble fitting a flanged bushing at the trim pivot with it's tight clearances. There also doesn't seem to be enough meat around the screw head to drill larger, but maybe?
Look at the selection of sleeved bearings on mcmaster and compare the dimensions to what your requirements are... ID, height, OD. There might be a way to make it work.
