Other RTV on exhaust manifold gasket?

protec says to use hi temp silicon sealer with their cheap paper gasket
I am planining to use OEM
do I still use RTV?

no, they will seal up just fine as long as your mating surfaces are clean.

threebond 1211 is what you're after if using paper gaskets.

I've never I used any kind of sealant on the exhaust gasket and never had issues. Use an OEM gasket and you'll be fine.
