Running on one cylinder

I took my ski out of storage after about a year and a half off storing it. I cleaned out the carbs and had to replace the starter. I took it to a local river and had to boost it to get it to start. I noticed it wasn't sounding right and the motor was vibrating more than usual.I unplugged the spark plug wire pto side and the ski died. I started it with out a boost and unplugged the mag side plug wire and the ski still ran. When i put the boot back on the plug nothing changed. I cut back the plug wire with no change, swapped plugs no change. Any ideas? Newer box in the ski in a kawasaki e box case

You check compression in both holes?

No haven't yet other than putting my thumb over the hole and cranking it over lol blew my thumb off of the hole tho. Engine was fully rebuilt two years ago

Probably time for a new coil. Swap plug wires front to rear and see if the cylinder that runs follows the working plug wire...

I switched wires and the one wire still was dead

So that indicates you have a bad coil.

Would you know if that cool is specific to the octane? Or would there just be a general one that fits multiple machines?

Got a new coil but i want to replace the crimped on ends that go into the coil. Where can i find these crimp on ends for the coil?

contact @JetManiac , or purchase a set of MSD boots from most any reputable watercraft parts vendor. the msd kit comes with new crimp on ends.
