SXR Rust!?!

Im getting my ski pulled apart to fix somethings on it and the acron nuts on the head, the 14 of them have some rust on them, i was wondering if anyone used a differnt nut for the top of their heads and if so what their using, im looking at replacemnent ones now but there like 45 shipped.....

Stainless or chrome is the way to go, but pull out the plastic.. Get a second job.. They aren't cheap....

The stainless quality the big manufacturers have been coming out with in the past few years is pretty pitiful. Meanwhile prices on a new ski keep going up. Take it for a few rides in the salt and you know what metals were cheap quality really quick.

Spray them down with WD40 after each ride and keep your hood open a little bit while you are storing it...should stop the rust.

anyone using a different nut then the stocker on the head? where did you get them form?

Spiky acorns. Got them at Colony Machine in Brunswick Ohio. :headbang:
