S/S Lanyard Switch

Was troubleshooting an electrical issue and decided to take the switch part to clean up the contacts.

One of the two tiny springs that push oh the H shape contacts went for a walk and I can't find it anywhere. Has anyone found a similar sized spring replacement for these in something more common? I already tried a couple springs from pens but those are were much to big diameter.

Hoping somebody has found something that works as a decent replacement rather than order a hole new SS switch and harness.

Thanks

Can you measure "the other one" to get specifics? Length and diameter, specifically. Perhaps the size of the wire, too, if that's measurable.

I can do that when Im back home but that will be a while. I was thinking I couldn't be the only idiot to loose one of these springs, but maybe so:p

If I’m not mistaken... you can take apart a standard lock (door knob) and the tumbler springs are the same

I was personally thinking safety detent spring from an AR15. Or a takedown pin detent... small diameter, but would need to be cut short.

Just an update I went to a hobby store and found some springs that work from a "traxxis" brand radio controlled car company. Had to cut the spring down and massage it little to make it work but she's good to go.

Didn't think of this till after but a spring from a common bic lighter might be pretty close as well.
