Went out and rode at Saguaro Lake in Arizona. I ended up meeting a new rider who rode a 750sx and let him try out my ski, best part of the day I ran into my boss who happened to be on a wakeboard boat just as I was calling it the day. His friend had a nice camera on hand and they set me up a bit of a wake (didn't fill ballast) and it was pretty dang steep. Was able to get a few airs off and only one small nose stab but pictures are awesome quality!

I could have got more air to be honest and I really was upset I haven't re installed my footstrap... I was riding barefoot and no footstrap just ran into my boss on the boat as I was coming in after chasing around my buddy Owen on his fzS so I was beat haha. Also scared I was going to run out of gas but I was stoked to get a good wake to myself. Only hit it twice on each side though and the 4th was just lingering wake.

I changed the tray up a bit, did the rear bondline mod. Motor wise it's a 701 with an old school twist head and b pipe. Single carb. Pole is 4" shortened fx1 pole

Nice
4" shorter; still wondering if I should shortened mine 3" or 4". Did you cut the bottom or top side of the pole?
Stock pump and propeller?
No MSD enhancer?

No msd, stock pump and impeller, I cut off the bottom of the pole and it still sits nicely on the hood pad. My ski does 52mph gps with me on it and I'm faster than all the superjets I ride with. I'm only 150lbs though and I don't much race I freeride. I do enjoy running buoys though now that I've got a handle on the control of the skip

I wish I can go that fast with mine; it is porpoising like crazy at half that speed. I'm a bit heavier than you though, 190lbs

but I doubt that to be the reason.
