Offering reduced prices on metal treatment services thru the month of December.

Significantly reduce friction between metal to metal parts and increase oil retention.
“But Dylan, this seems too good to be true, extending part service life at a low price? Impossible!” you may say.
Well my friend, start believing.
We’re currently devising up a few ways to compare longevity, test heat transfer, and even corrosion resistance.
I personally treat ALL of my engine parts including valves, roller rockers, transmission parts, rod end bearings, etc.

This treatment is a physical bond between metals that adds an almost unmeasurable amount of material to the surface layer of your part.

You’ll also get some sick stickers and if I really like you maybe a beanie or shirt :)

20 bucks covers the wrist pin, piston, and wrist pin bearing shipping not included.

Give your 200 dollar plus pistons a something a little extra, you won’t regret it.

Pictured are two 87mm Weisco’s and a Carrillo big bore piston for a customers LTR.

***disclaimer: this won’t make you do really cool flatwater backflips with your 650 but you may have to fend off the ladies when they see that sticker ***

Wonder if this would extend the life of aluminum sprockets and mx chain. As well as be a cleaner option compared to lube.

I do cam gears fairly often, I can’t say I’d recommend NEVER lubricating your chain I’m sure you’d notice the difference.

Send me a set and I’ll do it for you and send it back if you’d like

I can tell you your bike will roll a lot nicer with treated bearings !

Still offering tungsten carbide blend coating at a fraction of the cost of competitors.
Insane friction reduction and abrasion/erosion resistance.
Great for helping combat cold seizures and wear on fresh bores.

Offering this at a reduced rate so I can get some test subjects to help me determine coating lifespan and recoat intervals.

Also offering vapor honing for that nice smooth finish on your crusty old parts.

Coating is physically bonded and less than a micron thick and you will not need to account for it in tolerances.

Always thought a Nikasil or Tungsten Carbide Coating would be ideal for the Seadoo 787/800 Intake Rotary Valve Surfaces to prevent wear & tear which affects the Rotary Valve clearances, and to lower the friction and thus heat which requires a very expensive Seadoo API-TC Oil to operate.

But even with the expensive Seadoo Oil, the Rotary Valve Surfaces seem to wear out prematurely. Too much wear clearance leads to hard starting and poor performance, like having bad Reed Valves.

Then the Rotary Intake Surfaces have to be machined to correct clearances. Like getting a Bore & Hone for the Cylinders...

Nikasil is a way more permanent and expensive option but I’d love to experiment with the life span of the coating on different metal on metal parts. Generally we recommend our sprint car guys a recoating once a year.
I will post some pics of my Dasa pistons here shortly after about 20 hours of run time since being coated. Will also showcase what vaporhoning is capable of as far as cleaning up old parts.

Have you done trailer bearings? Thinking I should replace my 20+ year old trailer bearings as preventive maintenance and with metal treatment I should never have to worry about them again.

I have personally not done them, my colleague may have. They for sure see far less abuse than wheel bearings on microsprint tho
But for you? Free of charge man haha just send them over. Might be a little bit though I will be on vacation the next two weeks here shortly.
Best thing I can recommend
for trailer bearings is good seals/bearing buddies.

Also couldn’t post dasa pistons as I blew the engine to smithereens with water ingestion long before 20 hours haha

So is this the same coating that is used on drill bits ?
No, that I believe is a hard plating process similar to nicasil. This is more of a physical bond and less of a chemical mechanical bond. I would say it’s more practical in lower indirect pressure applications if that makes sense.
As in better for piston to skirt contact, ball bearing to race contact, as opposed to direct pressure on the tip of a drill bit.

I haven't contacted you because I didn't have anything in use that I thought would be useful for your testing purposes but after thinking for a bit maybe I do, I have an Aluminum cylinder off of a oiless air compressor that gets used regularly and I am thinking it might be the perfect candidate for testing this coating out.

Shoot me a message and we’ll get it sorted out

Still offering this service way cheaper than anyone else does.
This is almost an identical process to what WPC does with a few changed steps.
Micro shot peening of the surface and an added layer of “dry lube”.

Seeing bearings come back from race seasons that look immaculate. Increasing valve spring life by at least 50%.
