Ski should be good to go this year, ran well at Carolina Beach Ride (knock on wood). Butttttt.....What is the best way to prep plug wires for salt? I've heard both sides; goop the hell outta them with dielectric as well as keep 'em dry.

Can't wait to get down there, my 7th Daytona!

I ride salt all the time as have no other option! I don't think anything special is really needed but a few little tricks will keep you riding happy.
Like above a small amount of dialectic on plug caps and battery terminals, secure plug caps and all wiring and make sure electric box seal is good, spray motor with a water repellent, after riding just a good wash off with fresh water. Then go enjoy yourself ;)

Bring extra plugs (not just 1 spare set), starter fluid and a lighter. All of those are needed for water ingestion. If your electronics are right, you will be fine without dielectric grease. However, if you have the smallest issue, the surf will find it, so it's a good idea to put a coat of grease on all of your electronics (plugs, battery terminals, switch connections, starter relay if exposed like Kawi, bilge connectors, etc).

I personally like to flush my ski and coat with WD40 and silicone after riding (rinse, coat, then wipe clean). Flush probably wont be available and not everyone agrees with the oil. You make your own decisions what to do in that regard. I buy WD40 by the gallon and put it in a $1 spray bottle. Much cheaper that way.
