Thanks Michigan road salt!! I had this pathfinder for 9 years, put 275,000 miles on it with only basic maintenance. Ran great when i took it to the junk yard, but was just too dangerous to drive on the road. Had 380,000 miles on it when i took it to the junk yard after i stripped any parts i thought i could sell and had some fun. I could have driven this car forever if it wasnt for salt!

Have to keep them car manufactures booming! Between the salt and the pot holes cars..

im the type of guy that will never buy anything brand new. I like cars with actual throttle cables, and no fancy options.

Lived in California my entire life and went to a friend's wedding in Chicago in October. The rust everywhere was shocking to say the least.

So many WTF's with this thread. You put 275k on a car in 9 years?!?!?!
And that rust is only after 9 years? We have ford model T's that have sat outside since new with less rust out here.
