That is my take on it too. I would be concerned that the pressure washer thing would be too hard on the hull surface also. Nothing like a little good old elbow grease. Why don't you just use a DA sander where you can and hand block the other areas? Thats what I am planning to do on the round hull I am building up this winter. It will be alot of dusty and hard work but I believe that I will come out with a better prepped surface for the paint. I would only use a blaster for cleaning up metal pieces parts.
