Sato Engineering Trim System

Well.. my first post on X-H20!... PWCtoday convert..

Does anyone use the Sato Engineering trim system for the SJ?

Is it any good compared to the Protec version or CATS and is it worth the $600 price tag? - I noticed L*nzi's one is $1200!!!

Anyone ordered of the Jap site directly?

I'm looking to get one but it's a lot of $$$ for a trim unless it's not the mutts nuts!..

Grateful for your thoughts/opinions..

Cheers

I hardly ever use my trim system. I have the home made c.a.t.s version it works just fine. I would not spend allot of cash on a trim system. I have maybe 75 to 100 bucks in mine.

Same as Mark said, welcome, and I wouldn't spend the money unless you've just got oodles to blow.

Do a c.a.t.s. or find a Pro-tec used because it is a nice system. Freestyleriverrat has it on his squarenose and it's very nice/smooth with tons of throw.

Thanks for all the replies - I have the CATS system at the moment but thought the SE system would be better in terms of steering response and nozzle up trim rigidity - I'm sure the cable stretches on the CATS system when you hit the power there by lowering the degree of actual nozzle travel..

Is the SE nozzle itself actually longer than a stock one? - does this help by making the ski more responsive to steering input?

Any finanally does anyone have a Protec setup they wish to sell?

Thanks,

Jim

What parts did you exactly use? I don't want to spend a lot of money either. But for some reason I can't find the parts for my Kawasaki 550... Do you have any suggestions? Thank you.
