OK folks - here's the deal for dinner on Saturday...

I have in my possession enough fresh fish (caught this weekend by me and a few friends) to have a fried fish dinner Saturday.

Is this OK with everyone?

If so - I need some volunteers to bring the following to make it a complete meal:

oil - probably 1 gallon total. 2 to be safe (skinnyman)
frozen hushpuppies (kaveman)
frozen french fries or tater tots (nelsonlt1)
coleslaw (wavegoddess)
tartar sauce (steve0we)
cocktail sauce (prem1x)
lemons (wavegoddess)
another side dish (I have the recipe for MILFaroni & cheese if someone will make it)
a volunteer or 2 to help prepare it all (moondance and wavegoddess)

I do not have room to bring all these items with me since I have to bring all my regular refrigerator/freezer contents since Humberto knocked out power for 6 days.

I can find a place to store frozen items at a neighbors house if someone will bring them.

I have the fish, breading, fryers, pots/pans, plates, napkins, plastic cutlery.

I just need help with the rest.

Oh yeah Shawn, I will be down late Friday or early Saturday with wife and all 3 kiddos.

Luke - dunno...probably 4 large bags. look at the size of the bag and make a command decision :biggrin:

Kaveman - I think 1 large bag of frozen puppies should be good. Or 1 bag of regular and 1 bag jalapeno.

how many people do we have going? My wife makes a MEAN fried rice dish... Dont laugh, she is asian:11: Just remember, people are asian, not oriental.... rugs are oriental. Anyways,,,

How many people are we feeding? We can bring the Tartar sauce also...

I can see varying degrees of spicyness for cocktail sauce - but not tarter...could be interesting...I like anything spicy.

You still bringing the shrimp? Becky needs something to do. :pokey:
