SBT Adonis impeller?

Has anybody seen these in person? Used one? $150 shipped, they look very similar to an OEM 08+ impeller.

Good point. But they should still be able to tell you what pitch it most closely resembles, and if it is large hub or small hub. Also if they can sell an impeller for only 150$ why the hell are Solas and skat etc so damn expensive?!

Yes. Works well. More rpm than stock for sure. At least as small a 9/15 hooker feel

Because they are made in China just like everything SBT sells. Not saying that it is a good or bad impeller but that's why it is so much cheaper.

Pretty sure Solas is from Australia but who knows where their actual manufacturing occurs.

I rock a solas in 1 of my skis but the rest have skat mags in them!

solas props are not near as quality as skat. solas is very soft stainless that bends easily and skat is a harder springier stainless.
soft stainless solas polish easily and skat is brushed hard to polish stainless

Bought one....for science. It's a big hub- but not set back- even 3mm larger dia. hub than a Hooker!

I bought one, also for science. Unfortunately won’t be able to test it out until spring. The hub measures over 78mm. Anyone know how this would work out on a stock small hub stator? I plan to try it on a solas mag and/or stock 6 vein stator w Tbm stuffer but the hub is even larger than that.

big hub props work better than small hub props even on small hub stators. the big hub prop pushes the water towards the outside of the pump, so you get less turbulence in the space that's wasted in there/closer to the hub. that's one reason why more veins and larger hubs/pump stuffers work better, less turbulence

I grabbed one of the matte finish impellers off of Amazon for $130 shipped to test out. I am currently running a concord 14/18 that feels a bit too tall so I will post my findings. I'd like to put an impeller gauge on it, but don't have one and don't know that I will go through the trouble or just slap it in this weekend and test it by feel.
