SBT Adonis impeller?

I’m just getting around to installing mine now but I am also switching from stock stator w tbm stuffer to solas, so with multiple variables it won’t be very scientific.

The SBT prop I tested was almost like a chrome finish. Again it was small feeling and let the motor rev to the limiter

smaller than 9/15 hooker and way smaller than 9/15 solas YQ big hub

What engine in front of it? Cavitation from a dig?

I recieved the impeller today and printed off a simple gauge to check it over. As far as I can tell all the blades where very similar in pitch at the leading and trailing ends (almost identical from blade to blade, less than a half degree discrepancy). I measured it to be a 12/17, maybe 12.5 (advertised as 13/17). As long as my current impeller comes off easily, I'll probably test it this weekend in my FR2.

Can you measure another impeller using the same gauge like a hooker or stock or something so we can compare. Also thank you for being the guinea pig! :)

701 with Wetpipe in superjet. 82mm, Carlo tech reeds and OP flame arrestors

no Slip It fits the wear ring. I will says it’s not a beautiful smooth looking prop like a solas. Little wavy as I can see in this pic. Maybe they had a cost savings idea and took away the polish and it helped mask surface anomalies

I just pulled a Solas Concord "14/18" small hub out of my ski and measured anywhere from 11-13 leading and 17-18 trailing.

Here's another interesting comparison to my out of the box Solas. The Adonis appears to be setback, at least compared to this impeller, a decent bit.

This got me thinking of ways to check the angle of my impeller blades. I have several devices for checking angles for construction. After some testing the best one was a Harbor freight magnetic angle finder. I made sure I was on a hard flat surface and checked that the guage read zero. I then checked several impellers I have and the guage read spot on. Only can be used on leading and trailing edges but that's all I can correct anyway.

Burned a tank today, first time with my Rickter in the surf. The Adonis impeller is a significant improvement over the Solas that was in the ski. Felt stronger off idle and a bit better hookup in the whitewash. Pretty happy with it overall, and the price was great. I'd like to compare it to an OEM superjet impeller in the future.

Just tried it out and works pretty good. Huge difference over stock and had no problems hooking up. Seems to be a pretty good quality for the price.
