SBT Sleeves?

Can't seem to find much on these. What's the general consensus on quality?

Have a mint cylinder on original bore laying around that needs new sleeves and contemplating going this route. Are they on par with the WSM's or even LA Sleeve? Don't want to waste time and money if I don't have to.

And while we're on the subject of SBT products, are their pistons any good? I know not to use the needle bearings with their cranks and wouldn't either with pistons but just wondering.

I'm a Wiesco fan and comfortable setting them up and running just so you know where I stand on he whole OEM/ProX piston debate.

I heard a rumor that they dumb down the port timing with their sleeves... Hence why it's not recommended to buy an sbt motor..

Yes what jetmaniac says is correct. Their ports are way smaller no where near big enough for a performance engine. As for their cranks and wrist pin bearings we run them with no problems but we do recommend inspecting them at around 2 years of age. As for pistons i prefer the pro X or wiseco.
