scooter question premix conversion.

I just picked up a cheap chinese copy scooter. 50 cc 2 stroke. Cleaned carb/gas tank and some other little stuff. I removed the auto fuel shutoff thing and converted it to premix. I just have the oil hose that goes to the engine blocked off.

I wanted to pull the side drive cover off and remove the pin holding the gear on the oil pump but the bolts are on there good and I have LIMITED tools here. If I just leave it will it seize up because of no lubrication?

Can I just leave it?
Or should I buy one of those impact screw drivers here to get it off?IMG_0015.jpg

If you cap off the in and out nipples, there should be enough oil in it to lube it for a long time. Kinda of like the same when someone goes to premix on a ski and caps off the autolube nipples on their ski.
When you get some other tools try removing the pump later on.

Something/anything is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I am with out tools and or a truck/trailer at the moment. I saw it on craigslist for 400 bucks (with a "twin broken one". I called the dude, he sounded shady. I offered 200 for it. He claimed it turned over and would almost start. I worked it out he would bring it to me for 230 bucks. Crazy if I never seen it in person. (I figured if it got here and it was :):):):) I would give him 30 bucks for gas if I did not want it. He showed up reallll shady, with a title. Bat was dead and kicker wouldent work. I said F it and gave him 215 for it. The Twin scoot looked like trash.

I found out later you need to hold down the left brake to engage the kicker. Also with a charge on the bat it turned over.

Rebuilt the carb and cleaned the gas tank, put new fuel line and filter and new rear tube. Run MINT now. So for 235.50 I got a chinese junk scoot running mint for a deal, IMO. Just got back from the Wing House with it.

Good used shape maybe 300 + or - A Jap. scoot/ anything is the way to go.
