Scooters are banned from Camp Woodward here on the east coast. They allowed them for one encampment and the kids were such entitled little poops they banned them forever. ( I was personally told this by the Camp Director) He went on with some of the reasoning and his personal experiences but Ill save that for another time.

I would be speaking for every single BMX / Skateboarder when I say this, Do your kid the favor and don't buy him a scooter

I'll admit to being a scooter hater. It's just lame, just like rolling blading, freestyle walking, and skis in the 1/2 pipe. In my opinion, some sports just aren't cool
