don't look over your shoulder to spot your landing it makes your flip off axis. we've been calling them shoulder flips. look straight back.

you're still crouched upside down (I'm trying to break that habbit). you can help rotation by kicking your legs straight. It looks good that way too.

Good Job!

Good Advice.... Also... just incase... always keep legs a little bent just in case you get a semi flat landing.

Might help you huck'em easier if you leave a little later on the wave. looks like your leaving on a 60 angle. If that wave is vertical.... You will get all the way around, no problem..

Nice pics and backies ! :arms:

Thats what I was thinking even though I have not done them. This looks like a small 4ft lump with no face. But way to go if you are getting around like that.

Hardest part is making yourself look back, away from the ski. :frown:

this wave is barreling right next to him. looks like a good flip wave to me. it's hard to tell when he hit it though. if you hit it right on the tip of the white part of the wave it'll nearly flip it's self.

Yup, saying the same thing... I try and tell as little as posbile. Most THINK too much and then they get all mental about backies.

My biggest fear is the ski ripping away from me when doing this??????:ugh2:

My biggest fear is landing on the ski or the ski landing on me.

Thats why the trick is mostly mental.

My first thought when looking at the pics is "look straight back". It is more difficult to do this (in your mind) because you are "Blind" for a second. Just commit (looks like you are) and keep lookin back, the water will come arround.

Good Pics!!

I am not a fan of the kick out, rather pull the ski to you, when leaving wave... different ways same great taste.. :friday::bananalama:
