See inside Factory Pipe & why you can’t buy a B-Pipe

The pipes are available once or twice a year and get sold out. Its genius on their part because making any excess stock would eventually lead to lower prices and profits. Ive had no problems getting one, when they're in stock.

Should probably get mad at the availability of cr500 cases. Or banshee cases. Or anything niche that isn't made anymore. Manufacturers should definitely throw money in the trash to appease 6 cheap jet ski guys and their desire for a brand new pipe on their old ass engine and ski.

Yeah they make power factor pipes still. People like me buy them for their 9-1400cc engines. Not their 61x based 701 engines that become less avaliable every single day.

701 is a dying breed. No one cares. In 10 years your only gonna be able to get a 15000 dollar engine from torrent because of "inflation" or a clapped out 701 that is on its 4th bore. For the superjet hull someone has hacked to poop to reinforce or widen.

Good way to ger more views on your YouTube page tho

Have a hard time with the "Never forgotten his roots" comment...... There is not a single member here, or any enthusiast that can pick up a phone and order a Factory Pipe..... Only time is the one or two times a year they do a small run. Then they get sold out. Want a Kawi 750 pipe? Forget it.

I get it. BUT He doesn't have to do jack for us, yet he does. As PWC enthusiasts we "think" we are all that, but in reality we are not. Our niche is so small it is a wonder anyone does anything for us. I personally have always been thankful for what little he DOES continue to do for us.

As one who works hard on products myself only to have others knock it off, and THEN have people in this sport support those that are copy cats, it just makes you want to say F-it, and move on.....

Now Cindy on the other hand.......... lol

I can see both sides of this but if you have to set up a production run anyway and you have a market hungry for product why not make one large production run and fill that market need for years to come.
The 2 stroke is dead, I personally wouldn’t over produce and have a bunch of product sitting on the shelves

It's nothing new, we all knew why the B-Pipes were so slow to be made, Factory Pipe is too busy with larger product runs.
No reason to cry about it, either get your order in with Riva or Blowsion and get a pipe whenever they ship, buy a used one for $1k or wait for Wax Racing. My money has already ben sent to Wax Racing because he seems to care about the community and is at least trying. If a company doesn't want to make enough product to meet the demand then I don't know why people are crying when someone else steps up. The easy solution would be for Factory Pipe to make more units each run when they are already setup to go but they haven't for years so that is on them.

People have been saying the 2-stroke is dead since the first 4-strokes came out in about 2003 for watercraft and 2000 for dirtbikes, yet here we are 20 years later still riding 2-strokes. During the pandemic there was a huge resurgence in older skis and all are 2-stroke. KTM group, Yamaha and the Italians are still making 2-stroke dirtbikes. 2-strokes are far from dead.

2 stroke isn’t dead. Give it 10-20 years. Instead of “how do I rebuild my carb?” It’ll be “where can I find a new computer for less than 2500 from yamaha”. That is if they even still produce them by then.

4 strokes are nothing more than overcomplicated garbage forced upon us by the lovely EPA. Look at the used vehicle market and how much 10+ year old diesels are bringing. Nobody wants this overcomplicated stuff choked down with emissions crap.

They make some sense in couches and larger vehicles. Not in motorsport where power to weight ratio is key.

I have a Wax head pipe ordered. I’m extremely glad he’s made the effort to reproduce these hard to find parts. There’s no reason riva / thrust / blowsion and individuals can’t preorder pipes from factory for a 6 month period, then make a run of 500+ units.

Show me where I can buy a new 2 stroke superjet or sxr, don’t worry I’ll wait…

You can buy a new standup 2stroke jetski here: https://krashindustries.com/
I knew someone would bring up krash lol I like that they are still trying but I’m guessing they are utilizing a loophole to continue to sell stateside, just like when you needed a racing license to buy a superjet… my point was not the small time guys, it’s that the big names don’t make two stroke skis anymore and won’t be going back so the market for aftermarket will continue to decrease

I waited for well over a year for a complete system and when it got here it had a fairly large gouge/ding in the chamber. Blowsion was very sympathetic but there was nothing they could do with having all there inventory spoken for. I called factory pipe and there exact response was sorry about your luck. A well supported pipe from China would be far better for the sport than this “your peanuts” attitude from California

There are reasons, you won't like them, in a free market economy supply and demand rules, no way they could get that price for those pipes if the supply caught up or exceeded the demand, no worries though they have made sure that will never happen.

It’s debatable if commiefornia can be considered a free market lol. (Can’t imagine working in that factory muzzled up all day either) I’m not that concerned over the price of them. If it was a guy in a small fab shop making them I’d say it’s more than fair. And if he was working his ass off to meet demand but just kept selling out I’d understand and be supportive.
You’re right, if Polaris sells a sled for 12k, I seriously doubt they spend anything near 10% of their build cost on exhaust alone.
Believe me, I’m all for made in America myself, I just want a replacement for my cracked pipe before summertime. I’m sick of waiting and I’m glad someone stepped up to the plate for a very reasonable price.
