Seeking Help to repair my SC

While replacing the midshaft housing on my sport cruiser I found the bulkhead housing has separated from the hull.
It appears to be plastic and was glued in place from the factory. I'm not sure what Kawasaki used from the factory to bond these two, definitely looks to be some sort of adhesive out of a caulk gun.

Was thinking either g-flex or some 5200.


Thoughts?

My only thoughts because I have used both.
5200 is still soft when it drys compared to brick solid gflex.
I think you know what I mean by soft.
I think I would go with the gflex. But what do I know.
