Sell my 05 SJ for an 08 SJ??

I just bought a mint 05 SJ with nice mods but have an opportunity to get an 08 for a few hundred more. The skis essentially have the same mods. Should I entertain selling my 05 for an 08?

Maybe - ride it and see if you like the different handling.

what do you want to do?

If flat water freestyle, stick with the 05

If you want to race or just carve alot of turns, the 08 is a blast!

A combination of flat water messing around, teaching people how to ride a standup and also head to the surf fairly often. I do notice my 750sx leans and carves while my 05 SJ stays a bit flat in turns. I've only had the 05 SJ for two weeks now...

Check out all my posts and you will want the 08! Handles amazing and with some power its crazy......Factory installed tubbies! Thats all you need to make the choice! Downside is the stock steering, that has to be the first thing to go....!

The new hull does not do as well on flat water (freestyle). It is great in surf or on a course

i went from a 04 superjet to an 08 wcf hull and it definately takes some getting used to, if you have any type of surf/chop it handles great, in flatwater its not as stable... imo

id stick with the 05 for freestyle

I prefer the handling of the 08. Mostly because I am used to an SXR

go the 08, ive had both and the way the 08 carves turns is awesome, there just as good in the surf you just have to get used to the grip they have
