Other Selling a ski to someone in canada????!

Hey guys if im in the us. Bring a ski over the border to sell to someone then come back to US...is it gonna b. pain...what do u guys do...the buyer wants my superjet and obviously wanna pay border tax...totallu understandable but what do u guys think...

It's been super easy for me when I go pick up a ski in the states, all I've needed was bill of sale and you just pay tax. I don't know exactly how it works when you're bringing a ski into Canada to sell though.

I bought one of my superjets from the states... if the seller is willing to arrange crating and shipping then it's just the same as shipping within the united states.

Don't try any funny business to save a little money, many guys here have learned that lesson. Border patrol will want the taxs paid, there is no duty. You can call border patrol and they will answer your questions.

They will look for the ads online and compare the price. Not worth saving the money IMO, I had my truck compounded and had to pay 3 grand on the spot to get it out.

I have bought many skis from the US .. if you bring it across the boarder you pay tax on the spot ... if you bring it across into Canada he still has to pay the tax when he registers in into his name in Canada ...
I once had a guy bring me over a ski .. when i didnt know how easy it actually was to bring them across ..
for a Canadian to bring a ski across you dont even need the owership ( I called the boarder services ) they informed me all i needed was a clear bill of sale from previous owner

anyways for you to bring it into Canada that should also be no problem .. they may ask you why you are bringing one across in the middle of winter though LOL ..
