This is how I have mine setup

You need to cut it all the way up to the back pump bolts that's where mine is cut to and I love it
Oh yea and don't waste your time fabing a nice trim system because unless your going to put a big yami motor in it to where it's capable of flipping because I spent like 4 hours making brackets and setting it up and it is pretty much worthless because I don't have enough power out of a 750

I believe trim is super useful in the surf, at least on a stock hull. Helps keep the nose up riding down the face of a wave. Never ridden anything that short.

The more time I spend on it the more I am impressed. The ease of removal and installation and the pump stuffer fits without an extra spacer.

idk i think if im grafting something in id rather go at least a 144. but maybe that is needed with this ski. so much work to o this winter we will see where the fiberglass dust settles
