Other Seperate section for "Ski haulers"? Trailers, racks, carts, totes, hitch haulers etc?

I can't think of any threads to get rid of yet, but I'll look around. Funny, cuz I never thought of that lol... Maybe put a trailer, hauler, sticky thread in the Tech FAQ forum? Then when questions on the topic come up we could link it easier without searching? I just built a hitch hauler a couple weeks ago and it turned out pretty good and will post it up some time.

Stickies only work so well. There's a great thread for 1st mods to your superjet, and mods to your X2, but there are constantly "I just got a superjet/X2, what mods should I do?"

A generic hauling/trailer forum like BK said would be cool.

As for reducing that's easy from my POV...

- Flatwater/FreeRide/Surf should be one forum. 300 posts in the one shows there's no dire need.
- My Ski & Buildups combined.
- Half the ski forums can be combined. Just make Yamaha, Kawasaki, Other (Polaris, etc.), & Aftermarket.

This going with the train of thought that people can use and search on Prefixes. If that doesn't work for some tell them to pound sand and learn how to use the internet.

You think there will be 300 threads in the trailering section? Flat water split from surf makes way more sense than a few threads on how you carry your ski. They are different disciplines. Trailers are a matter of going to the hardware store, buying a beach cart or just brute force.

i definitely like the idea of trailers, haulers, etc.

So instead of a forum, what we need is a pre-fix, and tell everyone to use the search function to find trailer stuff, and if it doesn't work for them, tell them to learn how to use the internet and pound sand.




Internet fact... You don't need a license to use it. If people can't operate a car, what ever makes you think they can operate something that has no requirements or consequences of sucking at?

I do agree that My Ski and Ski build ups could likely be merged.
