you need one year round.

if you are there this weekend without a permit, the County personnel will sell you one right on the beach.

if you get down there, look me up. S O'neal @ the beach - turn off the highway near Sharky's

there's a link to a map in the first post of the FAQ

where would this be...like business or house or what??? you intrested in hitting up some waves sat or sunday?? What is the best way to get fuel across the ferry you think....hummmm? Also, it has been said the fuel cans cant come across but what about the ski's with the fuel in them? I assume that is fine?

S O'neal is the road that leads to the beach...dead ends on the beach. That is where we ride; that is where the Sept ride will be. Gas in skis is fine; unless you run race gas, plan on buying your gas at Crystal Beach. There are several stations to buy from. Last couple of times we've been on the ferry, they have checked the gas cans, which were filled with water.

unless you need race gas, don't bother with bringing any fuel or cans this weekend.

I have several 5-gallon cans. you are welcome to use them for fuel runs - then you don't have to deal with getting them across the ferry.

oh dear...... this thread gets more frightening by the second.

I should not need but one fuel run or so. both skis get about 4 hrs on a 5gal tank and if i bring 2 with me pluss what is in the ski I should not need to ever hit up a gas station for anything other than refreshments.

ps. check your pm penguin

i will be bringing my truck and a seperate car so we may stash the fuel in the trunk or back seat. Limo tint ftw!!
word. I sneak across jugs myself by sticking them in the back seat and covering them. The time I tried to cross with exposed empty cans they made me turn around and fill them with water. lame!
