Other Setting up a free ride in central NJ

I am setting up a little free ride in Long Branch NJ on Sunday September 18th at 7 Presidents Park beach. We will be arriving around 10am. We will have a quad for helping people on and off beach with their jet skis. Beach totes are recommended as well. We will have a big canopy tent set up for people to leave their gear, fuel, ect. It is free to park and free to launch your jet ski directly from beach into the surf. We will be headed there with a small group 100% but the more the better!

Did you talk to the park ranger or the town about about this little get together? Bare minimum did you ask about taking a quad on that beach. I'm not trying to sound like a d bag but all it takes is one incident to ruin it for ever and everyone.

Ya if you didnt already arrange something with the park they are def going to have an issue with the quad on the beach. How many times have you rode there?

I concur with the above. I never got the feeling my jetski would be welcome near that area. Awesome place to ride if it's legit but I would make sure it's good to go with park and Long Branch before you have people showing up only to get turned away

100% its legit to ride there. Couple of buddies no issue. Its when you get on the internet and start posting your setting up a free ride that the issues start to arise. An organized event needs insurance and approval from the park. And then to think they are going to be ok with riding a quad on the beach?

Sorry for the late reply guys, I have been away...

Anyways I have already confirmed this with park police and they are 100% ok with it. Only thing is we are not allowed to bring our own quads to use on the beach. They told me to call them a few days before and they will help us getting skis from parking lot and onto beach with their mules.

I must say that sounds pretty sweet to have rangers move your skis.. but almost sounds too good to be true. Although I know north Wildwood allows beach parking and launching up until memorial day with application approval.
