Flat water flips take skills , set up wake, timing , body weighting , knowing when to pull on the bars are key , yes the more power the easier and the way the hull responds to rider input the easier it is to make it all the way around .
Hahaa the video was weak, sorry we had Joes girl friend filming at 6:30am before I left for World Finals. I don't think she was too worried about it but you guys get the idea.
For everyone asking about the set up. It's a 701 with a head, pipe, and a impeller. We yanked all the guts out of his existing SJ. I must say I'm extremely impressed by this ski. I will be building a surf ski when I get back from Australia and it will be this exact set up with a solas pump and 771.
Whoever is the one goin buck wild in the background sounds explosively drunk LOL and I love how at the end of the video the girl filming says "now you go do it" and videos over haha...
Just gave me a good laugh but the flips look sick and definitely don't look like a 701 struggle but if you say that's what's in it than that guys got flippin' skill for sure nice work
I was just about to say the same thing. They both sound drunk as hell! I Dont think the guy next to the chick could even get on a ski. Must have been a long night. But whoever is on the ski is lookin good!, alcohol or not. Gives us that can only afford 701's some inspiration.
