i love the adjustable steering concept. That would be something i'd buy separate too.

I was thinking OVP with pre 08 cable on my 2014 SJ to get the best range but wonder if this system gets rid of the need to install the pre 08 cable to get the same function...?

No, there is not enough throw in the newer cables. You have to install a pre 08 cable

You have to install the pre08 cable and an adapter mount for the cable, then you can take advantage of any a/m steering systems extra throw, etc.
