Has anyone done this? Can you recommend a carrier? I posted on uShip but I have a feeling I wont have too many bites. I want to ship a stand up with no trailer, it is crated, from Montreal to North Carolina.

Shipping A Ski From Canada To The USA

I had my superfreak Circus hull shipped from Canada. Best thing I can tell you is contact a local shipping company that handles international freight and has a customs broker available for you. You can do it all yourself, but if you miss one form or detail, it could get impounded at the border and the storage fees will rack up until you get all the forms filled out and fees paid. I had to hire a shipping agent at the last minute and it cost me more than I was expecting
You might try John Carter at Unishippers (800) 728-6502 - he has shipped skis domestically for me and many others on here. he might be able to arrange for Canada as well.
