What's a "high" quote?
I have some info using fastenal. A whole ski should cost you about 100-150 As long as you have a location near you and a location in the area that's it's being shipped from. Pm me your number and I'll call you to tell you about it. Too lazy/busy right now to type it all out.

Your crate dimensions and weight factor into shipping costs. If you're shipping from Tony's, he's in the licoricein sticks... so a truck picks it up, then brings to a depot where it transfers to another shipping depot. Then it has to go on another local truck and ship to the address. Therefore your price given is pretty accurate. The only way you're gonna save is if you drop it off at a major shipping depot yourself, and the buyer picks it up himself at the drop point. & they usually don't just let Joe Schmoe do that. What are you really gonna save, 150 bucks after spending a bunch of time calling/ then loading and driving yourself to the depot....just ship the thing you cheap fu ck @Mcarp6

yrc freight is going to be one of the best priced, dont expect a guaranteed date but it will eventually get there.
I ship freight all the time at my work and as said above location is a huge factor, and shipping from a business is a big money saver when its something that needs loaded either with a forklift or loading dock.
