AC stands are about $160 and work well.

If on a budget, you can go to harbor freight for castors and home depot for lumber. Make a large furniture dolly that will hold your AC stand. The dolly would be flat for easy storage. Make sure you put something on it to prevent the stand from tipping off of it. Also know the ski will not slide super easy on the stand which is good but it's also a bit hard to move over.

build one out for PVC for $20 bucks. I just built my third last week, spent $20 at HD and had left over pipe. I have never broken one in 8 years. I don't have any pictures search you should find some, or lmk and i can take a pic.

Thanks for the Info guys. going to look into making some myself, but also still looking for built ones. Not really on a tight budget, just dont think that spending $800 on a stand is necessary LOL.

I have an ac type stand and got casters from HF to make a dolly for it in the garage as mentioned above. Easy to make, store, and travel with. I can move skis around the garage, load and unload from my truck or trailers or whatever and the stand works great on the beach. simple, effective, cheap.

i made this shop stand for my old blaster but i gave it to the dude who bought the blaster. i just got the itch and picked up another so im going to build another stand something little smaller though this one was pretty big couldnt take it with you but was sold as can be. Think i paid $50 in materials and 1 hour of work.

How did you attach the casters, where they able to be removed for the beach. If you have any pics that would be great.

I think limitedslip is about to make some. Same guy that made those sick aluminum 5 gallon tanks to fit Bpipe and PFP. he said that was his next project as he didnt wanna spen $800 either.

It really is. Those tanks are super nice! My buddy has two of them. I'd wait for one of his to surface. I'm sure its going to have all the bells and whistles and he mentioned a price point around the $500 mark, Bryan. I'm sure it will be well worth the price. Hopefully it comes with the powdercoating option his tanks did as well.

if you do decide to go home-made get castors rated for the weight of a ski-- not the rollerblade wheels HF sells..lasted about a week w/ a blaster hull and the bearings were all over my garage

sorry this is the best photo I have until I get home from work tonight. I did use higher capacity casters, and 2*4s. I blocked the stand in so I can just lift it out of the wood part but it wont slid off. I also bought the kind of casters that lock for all 4 wheels.
