See a lot of dof posts not showing the same thing. If it was a auto engine, a short block is the complete bottom block with crankshaft and pistons. A Longblock would be the complete top and bottom end, and all timing components.
What is it for a ski? I'm not retarded and can usually make out what people re talking about, I just like to know the real terms for things is all.
Short block is cases with crank and top end with pistons assembled, but no head? Longblock is a complete engine with stator and ebox, asically drop in?
