Shortened AC pole on a SN pics?

I have really clean stock looking 1993 SN that I am wanting a shorter pole on. I have searched high and low for pics of a SN with a -2" or more AC pole on it. I am concerned with how it will function/look since the SN pole has the steep angle at the handlebar end. Can anyone post pics of what I am looking for or give input on say a -4" AC pole on a SN? Thanks

I did come across that pic. So how did the pole sit on/clear the hood? I was thinking about ordering a -4", I have the blowsion short steering plate also so that will shorten it up even more. What did you think of -8"? That seems to be overkill for me since I mainly just cruise the lake. I'm 6'3" and feel the stock pole is always in my gut.

Go as short as you can and still have the pole clear the hood. I am 6' and wouldn't mind it being a couple inches shorter. Even cruising the lake it is more comfortable then when it was -2.

5 10 here. I ran a -4 or so pole with OVP steering which is like -10 overall, and I could went shorter on my square.

Since all the advice on the length of a shorter pole was all over the place I bit the bullet and ordered a KP today and yesterday ordered a Hazard bracket and Crazy Joe's chin pad. I thought I originally wanted an AC but once I order, it will be a pain to adjust the length. I looked real hard at and almost ordered an Xscream since they come with everything for a reasonable price but the more I read it seemed I might want something more than -5". So yesterday I was frustrated at what to order and decided to just spend the money and get something that can be adjusted to whatever I need. Thanks for the input guys.

That was a good decision! Probably not much more then the AC pole anyway.

The AC was going to cost about $430 to my door and everything from my stock pole would bolt up to it so no extra costs. The KP setup with everything to do the swap will end up being around $1000 all said and done. Does anyone know if I can use my SN steering cable with the KP?
