My 95 750sxi is getting a makeover this winter. Next puzzle, what are my options a shorter pole? I would like -2 from stock. And I don't want to spend a fortune doing it.

You can look for a used -2 ac pole, or convert it to a rn sj pole and cut the pole to whatever length you want.

PLD (i think thats his name) over on the pwc forums, makes custom aluminium poles to any length you'd like for $280 I believe. Paint is extra, but everyone seems to say they are a great deal.

Here is a shot of a PLD pole on my 750. It's -3" and I am 6'4" so it's great!
It does take a bit of doing to make a pole spring work, and to mount his steering setup. But definately doable.

6'4 with a -3 pole? I am the same height and that seems like death to the lower back.

It's been the best thing I've ever done man, seriously. Keeps my weight super forward, It's improved my stance in the tray (footholds helped as well basically widening my tray), I just wish I'd done it sooner!

Im 5'10" and had like a minus 4 pole then straight bars. This was a first gen LTD pole (aka team bill, aka highroller, aka Goose pole). He still sells the under LTD now

i just went -3 with a 300sx pole. mostly because it was free. will post pics later its not completely installed yet.
