^^^ yup tire tube pieces is what i used.
one piece over the intake manifold under the carb bases, bolt the carbs down over the tire tube
one piece over the b-pipe manifold, bolt the headpipe down over the tire tube.
basically replace your carb base gasket and b-pipe gaskets with pieces of tire tubes
i used a bicycle pump that has a gauge on it and pumped air in through the pulse line
don't forget to remove the flywheel cover when doing the test.
