Hi Guys,

I know this is mainly a superjet site but thought i would ask your opinions....i've found this ski for sale across town and was wondering what you tought should i or shouldn't i? they are asking $400. I'm going to look at it tommorow and give it the compression test; i'm told it's been garage kept and from the picture is looks nicer then some 05's i've seen.

thanks for the opinions.

All standups use a Yuasa yb16cl-b battery as well as most seadoos, polaris, tigersharks and Kawis till they switched to the YTX20L-BS sealed batteries, the 650 SX is oil injected but the oil injection should be removed pronto.

That's a great ski for a learner and it will run forever just leave it stock. I think that's a good buy. Dump a teaspoon of ATF in the flywheel housing to eliminate bendix issues.

My 550 was $800 and doesnt look near as good. Then again it, i wanted a sj and my parents said buy something cheaper, then when i know i like it i can get a sj. Still no sj...

I agree to snag it if it runs... The 650sx's are great for friends learning to ride stand ups. If no friends are interested in riding it, sell it mid season for double the price.

picked it up yesterday..........compression tested at approx 145psi in each cylinder.

turned over strong but they drained the tank so obviously it wouldn't start.

someone had put a block off plate on it for them........does anyone know what the mixture should be? is it 50:1 like the SJ's?

any of you guys know where to find new rub rails and or tray padding?

was contemplating doing it over in turf but wanted to see how much the lazy mans way would cost
