there is no difference in the SN to RN except the top deck look.. personally id rather spend money into upgrading my engine first, then concentrate on the outside looks.

Ok great news! I have found 2 superjets for sale within my driving range and price range. I'm trying to decide what to do right now...

The first is a 97 RN Superjet. All OEM look but has an 02 motor high comp head 185 psi 93 octane factory b pipe, carbs jetted ,solas concord 13/17 prop, intake grate ,ride plate, ac pole with umi turn plate straight bars, 500 bilge pump and ski cover for $3500.

The other is a 90 SN SJ that looks its age and still has factory graphics. Parts include an aftermarket impeller, Worx rideplate, aftermarket handlebars, aftermarket pole spring, billet finger throttle, and electric bilge pump and he is asking $1900.

What should I do? I love the RN look. Should I pay out for the parts and look for the RN SJ?

Patience is a virtue. A SN for 1900 bettet jave a b pipe on it in my opionion... you'll end up wanting one and will have to shell out 700 alone for that one mod...

If your budget allows it get the rn Its better to have something and be happy with it ,then getting an sn and be wishing you went the rn route. Preferably a rn with some parts on it at least a b pipe to save you money in the long run.

go with the rn. go look at the ski in person, money talks when you have it in front of the guy! he'll come down if you point out some flaws or things it may need.
