Should this cases be alright?

Yet another thread by me wondering if a part is alright

Ive got this set of 62T cases, I was wondering if you guys thought if they are still good enough to use... Take a look:

lol... I just got them, by looking at them, that one corner looks rough but I think its saveable... What would you guys suggest doing/using in order to get a good seal again?

either jb weld then lap or use plenty of 1211 on your base gasket (or both)

ok, would having it filled with some weld be any better or will that just heat up the metal too much? I have access to both MIG and TIG welders if that matters at all.

I'd be worried about the case warping, but I am paranoid that way....

I wouldnt use weld unless you want to sit there and sand it forever but not sand it to much and not sand it on an angle, plus it will get the metal to hot. Give jb weld a shot.

is it cracked or just gouged? If gouged just have it decked and run a thicker base gasket. If cracked have it welded then decked.

are there any threads left in those holes ?? they look striped to me.. or like time serts that have been drilled out but not removed
