Freestyle Sick of editing all your GoPro footage? Here's your solution...

I was snowboarding with my gopro today and a buddy of mine mentioned that he knew the creator of a new editing app for action cams. I checked it out when I got home and it looks awesome. You simply cover the camera lens for 1 second to black out the picture after a highlight. After a day of filming, you run the file through the program and it will cut each segment proceeding the hand blackout (the duration of the cut is adjustable). You can then edit these little clips into a nice highlight reel and save yourself the agony of sifting through hours of film. I haven't tried it yet, but it seems to get great reviews.

Sometimes after a great shot I will turn stop recording, then restart. Works great until I get in a reverse cycle turning the camera off when I want to turn it on and I end up with a boat load of 5 second clips... Hard to hear the beeps when riding.

Just thought I'd follow up on this app. I tried it finally for the first time this weekend and it is awesome. Literally cuts out HOURS of sifting. I'll trade the little watermark on the lower right of the video for that kind of time saving any day. Check it out!
