I think they decided to split the prize.
There was gonna be a "trick-off" between Ant and Macc...(I could be wrong) but, as you know, the conditions were less than perfect, and they agreed to split the cash....

I think!

You were good though, bud! It looked really hard to pick/set-up on a wave that day.

I was with Mike and Arno at the beach, they wanted to do a face off with Ant and Macc but the crowd kind of fell apart and they decided to split the first prize. I had so much fun during that event! Please post pictures I saw some really fancy lenses on the beach that day but havent seen to many photos from them. Freakin Brian up there throwing the Y of the YMCA during a huge barrel roll! ha!

I was glad to see a few "regular joes" out there this year.
Usually just the pro's are out there.
I payed a lot more attention when I heard your name over the speakers!

the wave junkies did a great job wilkey was very good and zimmy did a great roll on blaster , would like to see zimmy on big motor blaster,ant was better than mac he should have one , have some rules before the event and so everybody knows what is expected and have a couple of impartial judges that know about freeriding, have some trophys for the top 3

Hats off to the Wave Junkies!!

Zimmy was doing some great rolls on the Blaster. I did not see any other blaster out there rolling. I did see lot of ski's trying big backflips.

Wilkey killed a big no handed roll and got the biggest applause!!

Josh was also flawless in his performance on a $2500 boat, no offense to your boat Josh.


I also think Mark had one of the biggest attempts at a double barrel roll. That thing was HUGE!!!!!!!!!

Nice work to all the competitors!!!!!!! They all gave it 110%

It was an honor to ride with some of the Pros and Mark Gomez who put on an impressive show too!

Man I missed Marks double roll. I turned away for one second, heard the crowd, and knew I missed something good.

We had Zimmy practicing on my big motor Blaster, and 1/2 hour before the contest we blew the MSD total loss brainbox....end of story.
We scrambled like crazy trying to figure it out and get it fixed, but we couldn't in time.
I think a couple completed rolls and completed backy's on the Blaster might have changed the outcome.
Maybe.

(next year I'll be smart enough to bring ALL of my spare parts). It was my fault. Sorry, Zimmy. Next year.
