The rules aren't specific about speed limit horizontal or vertical. Maybe I'll go so fast that i'll just hover over the water just so that don't touch. Better lose the WORX grate!

Internet petitions are pointless, if you are serious about this then make a real petition and get it signed by community members. I assure you the people in control won't care about a petition signed by random people on the internet, they will want to see real signatures from locals. From an outside perspective it sounds fairly unreasonable, are you really going to put in and stay under 5mph if they change the rules to allow PWC's? Are there no other lakes in your area at all? It sounds like they want it to be a fishing lake, and if that is the case it will most likely never be what you want.

Theres a lake I go to that only allows boats under 5MPH including PWC's which is fine because to get to the picnic area is a long walk or a short ride via PWC with the coolers etc .
I like to load up the couch with all the goods and just idle over for 5 minutes .It's either that or a half hour walk over roots and rocks etc carrying all the gear for a day cookout .

A small correction the Lake is not owned by the city....It is owned by the tax payers. 176 acers is not that big so they should have a first come first serve policy. Fine...so some wants to row a boat then do an odd even calender. This is the same numb scull thinking that closes walking trails for MT bikes. Odd even would work great... Hell for a close place to ride I'd even pay a day fee. And one more thang how do I get off this soap box..

Yes, it's just 3 min. from my house! Very close for me also! Just feel like I'm one person trying to change this and not getting much help (from the local community)or I'm going bout it the wrong way!
