SX/SXi/SXi Pro Signs of pop-off pressure to low?

I have been having problem trying to get my 750sxi carbs set. I have set of dual 40mm keihins off a zxi and I have my pop-off at 20psi right now and I have noticed that when I crank the engine I can see a large amout of fuel coming out of the carbs. It will not ideal, but when I open it all the way up it will take off. I also blows out alot of smoke when it does take off. What are some of you guys running as far as pop-off and jetting? Thanks for the help.

Jetting depends on exhaust pipe and if the cylinders are ported or not. A bit more info would help a lot.

Ok I set my pop-off at 22psi now and it will run and idle just fine, but I dont have the snap to it like I would like. I be really easy on the throttle and it reave up, but when I just stap the throttle, it just bogs out. What do you guys think I should do next? The jetting is 125 high, 80 low, and 35 transition.

Well my stock 750 with the Duel keihins needed 125, 75, 40 to run..(Duel Kiehins from an STS) With your mods mabey go up on the mains, how many turns out are you on your High Speed Adjuster?

Some would describe lean as being a feeling of hesitation and a rich scenario as being a bog... just a thought.

I was always told if it falls on its face or cuts out its lean, if it bogs its rich. worked for me so far.

Coffing=stumbeling=won't rev/lots of smoke=gas smell=rich
