Surfriding Silicone hood seal

I tried with pool seam sealer and just didnt get it the way i wanted. Wound up getting 1in trimlok and have had a great seal since. Rode all summer in surf. I like that molding silicone though. Might have to try it next.

That's not the stuff. And it won't work on the majority of skis out there so have fun making a mess.

You need a bigger willy to fill some gaps.

Following. (For the hood seal, NOT the wiener maker)

It is some kind of 2 part urethane rubber. Might be able to get it from a place like McMaster.

The key to it too is you need to degas the mix before it is poured into the hood seal. Tony must have skipped this step on mine. Does not affect it just not as pretty.

Im still happy with the trimlok from 2 years ago. Holding up nicely. But you could ask if theres a mandingo cloneawillie kit
