Super Jet Silicone the pump seal or not?

Hey guys, I have heard of people putting silicone around the pump seal...mine looked like it was in pretty good shape when I took it apart but just wondering what people's thoughts were before I put everything back together completely..Thanks!

not sure if you would need it but it wouldn't hurt, after i put my ski together this spring i forgot to order a pump seal so i filled the gap with silicone and it held for 2 weeks until i got the seal so theres something to be said for silicone.
