Super Jet size matters?

So I have been putting together my spare square with donor 701 from an xl700. Now that it's time to go through the carbs I'm surprised at what size jets are in there. 67.5 idle and 90 main???

I need something quite different. Why such a huge difference? I am running stock exhaust and f/a.

Xl700 is pushing around alot more weight than a superjet. Very different fuel demands.

So I would think bigger jets, not smaller. Anyway I will start off with @supertunes recommendations and go from there.

what does the air box lol like? Any restriction there will make it richer. It's also possible that they made up the difference with the top adjustment screw.

XL700 had a 67.5low and 120high front carb 130high rear carb.
90 high?
Never seen that in a 38.

Airbox all stock. Previous owner said it ran good till it didn't. I bought it super cheap and discovered stripped out stator plate bolts. I don't think carbs have been messed with but maybe.......
